Remembering 9/11

The Southern Miss Alumni in Birmingham join our fellow Americans in the remembrance of those that lost their lives in the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We offer a silent prayer for those that lost their lives at the Pentagon in Washington D.C., the World Trade Center Towers in New York; and the Shanksville, Pennsylvania plane crash. In Birmingham, we have a replica of the Statue of Liberty at the Liberty Park exit #23 off Interstate 459. Please take a look at the Statue of Liberty and the American Flag, both symbols of what we stand for and be thankful for the innocent lives lost and the heroes that died for their country.
